Project Accountant

Traditions of America, a nationally-recognized developer of 55+ lifestyle communities across Pennsylvania, is hiring a Project Accountant to join its growing finance team at the company's headquarters in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role with a broad area of responsibilities. Collaboration is encouraged, along with the ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects at once.

Job Description:

The responsibilities of a successful Project Accountant include:
  • Monthly accounting and general ledger processing
  • Processing and recording cash receipts and cash disbursements
  • Assisting in preparation of debt covenant compliance reports
  • Performing variance reviews for GL accounts
  • Preparing job cost reports
  • Preparing internal and external financial statement reporting and supporting schedules
  • Performing additional assignments and ad-hoc projects that arise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Proactive and energetic approach to work ethic
